01 / Our story

A lighting maker,
not a trading desk.

Amicado began in Shenzhen in 2015 with a simple ambition: to be a benchmark for LED lighting rather than another catalogue of look-alike fixtures. The first products were designed for residential use. The same design idea — the best possible light in a timeless, functional form — still governs what we release.

As the solar category grew, so did the company. We added tooling, electronics, a lighting laboratory and facilities in Zhongshan and Jiangmen. Today we develop and manufacture across eight families, and work with distributors, project suppliers and brands in more than 50 markets.

We are still a manufacturer. We still answer our own emails. And we still believe that being close to the end user is the advantage that cannot be copied.

We invest in the lab,
not just the line.

Quality control runs through every step of product development. Our laboratory conducts hundreds of tests to put the right light where it matters most.

From LED components to the finished fixture, we verify the product with precision equipment — not by eye. The laboratory is also where custom programmes are de-risked before tooling is cut.
